description: A digital image mosaic is a raster image of an aerial photograph that through a process of rectification has been transformed to a uniform scale and pixel resolution with a specified tolerance. Cabarrus County, NC image mosaics consist of a tiff file format, one file covers an area of 5,000' X 5,000'. Pixel size represents 1' on the ground and B/W images are 95 megabytes per tile map. No attributes available. Each tiff has a corresponding "TFW" file that contains geographic coordinate system information. These mosaic images were produced from an aerial photography flight covering Cabarrus County, North Carolina in 1938.
