Task 2 : Aerial photography is scanned using a high resolution scanner. Task 3 : Fully Analytical Aerial Triangulation (FAAT) is performed to extrapolate additional image control points on the scanned images using photo identifiable points from existing orthophotos. Task 4 : NC Floodplain Lidar data is processed and edited in a softcopy photogrammetric workstation.The digital elevation model (DEM) produced is used in the image rectification process. Task 5 : Image tiles at 5K' X 5K' are produced using image processing software. The tiles are edited for radiometry and geometric accuracy.
